Its facilities feature a restaurant, a café/bar called The Windmill Bar, and event spaces suitable for conferences and weddings, making it a practical choice for both leisure and business visitors.

The property’s interior is described as clean and tidy, though somewhat dated, reflecting an older style without significant modern refurbishment. Guest reviews commend the friendly and helpful staff, emphasizing good service and cleanliness. Some note the furnishings and décor show signs of wear, but overall maintain functionality. Although the hotel is a bit dated. It is absolutely clean and spotless. The staff are all fantastic. They will go the extra mill for you, They cannot do enough for you. We are absolutely fine staying there for work purposes Monday to Friday.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend when we went to the Christmas market in Birmingham as part of a coach tour package. Inside the hotel it was nicely decorated in a modern style and we found it clean. The food was nice and the staff friendly and welcoming. We would happily return to this hotel. They even had a beautiful Christmas display by reception. Wonderful.

This hotel is decent and cleaned, but it is old. I feel that at one time, it must have looked really nice. The furniture and fittings are really old, but they work. I can only imagine that refurbishing a big hotel like that would be mammoth task. If you do not care about how old or modern a hotel looks, and just want to sleep on a clean bed with fairly decent space, then this is your place. It is very reasonably priced and the breakfast is great. I believe that I would stay again, if I was passing through Coventry for just one night.

Second time I have stayed here in the last few months. A good hotel rooms are clean the cleaner was still in the room when I arrived back early. Clean towels, plenty of tea and coffee. Lovely hot shower though I'm not a fan of fixed head showers plenty of hot water for a bath if you wanted to. Main gripe about the room is the mattress is hard but i still slept ok. Food in either the bar or restaurant was very good, never had breakfast. I paid £54 for two nights and was perfectly happy with price and service. It is not 5 star and doesn't claim to be, it is an excellent hotel.

Better inside than outside, staff friendly and helpful. Large room, comfortable bed, TV with free view, tea and coffee tray refilled daily. Decor is tired but as a place to lay your head at a budget price I found it to be good. Smoking rooms too! Breakfast is a buffet affair - plenty of it and well cooked.

Ok, first off this isn't the best, most expensive or cheapest of hotels in the area, but despite the shabby exterior and rough looking car park, the room is clean and tidy, the staff is really good and friendly. The beds are clean and comfy, the bathroom is a bathroom - if you're tall the shower is a bit iffy, but all said, it's quite nice for the price and location! Edit: following day! Breakfast was a decent buffet with all the British breakfast greats. The downside was that all the guests - myself included - arrived at the restaurant at opening time, so seating was a minor problem, but a few minutes of wandering resulted to people shuffling around and making space. When food was running low, a fresh batch was produced straight away, so was always hot and fresh. All in all, for a budget hotel, it was clean, the staff helpful, and the breakfast was really good.

Very friendly staff, especially on the night shift. It's easy to find and has a free car park. For the price, you cant complain about the rooms; they're clean and tidy. The smoking rooms on floor 7 are a bonus, rarely find hotels with smoking rooms. Would definitely recommend

I was coming up to photograph a wedding and in all honesty I chose this hotel as a double room was £37. As you first view it, your heart sinks for a second but at the same time I wasn't going to complain for the price. However, as soon as you see the inside everything brightens up a bit. They have a bar which serves food too, a restaurant and loads of comfortable seating. We sat in the bar and played cards and it had a lovely atmosphere. There is a smoking area directly opposite the front doors with picnic benches and ashtrays. The service on reception was lovely and they couldn't do enough to help. Overall it was a brilliant place to stay and we would actually come back again.
